Newtown's All Saints Church benefit from £2k grant support
A CHURCH in Newtown has delivered hundreds of Sunday lunches for vulnerable people and families across the town throughout the coronavirus crisis. All Saints Church in Commercial Street has been serving 80 hot meals every Sunday since the first lockdown in March. The weekly delivery, in association with Newtown Network, is for families and individuals who refer themselves or are referred by the town’s foodbank, district nurses or the mental health team.
