Extreme D3 drought in North Dakota expanded further. Growers in Texas and Colorado also face more trying moisture shortages. While the statewide average temperature last week was 62.8 degrees, 6.1 degrees above normal, the precipitation averaged 1.03 inches, 0.09 inches above normal.
