Word Play: A crossword puzzle gala Voices of Hope worked its local connections to get a custom crossword puzzle designed by Patrick Berry for their inaugural Crossword Puzzle Gala. Berry literally wrote the book on crossword construction (it’s called “The Crossword Constructor’s Handbook”). Tables of eight race to be the first to complete the puzzle.
