That is all over now and the Corporal will be transitioning into retirement. Last week (08/10/23) the Brookfield Police Department announced Corporal Brooks retirement on their Facebook page, saying:
The Greater Danbury area was hit by severe storms on Saturday evening and some places got hit worse than others. Eyewitnesses are saying the Bridgewater/Roxbury line was an area where things were particularly bad. On Monday morning (08/14/23) we received a call from the I-95 Morning Show Meteorologist Jack Drake who offered to do a report on the the weather event. Below are the highlights of our discussion with Jack.
Keith Richards, Dickey Betts, Andrew Dice Clay have all visited the Ridgefield Playhouse and all of them have left a lasting memory on Jared Shahid, the Managing Director at the Playhouse. Krazy Vin's was a New Milford Gentleman's club back in the day and the sign created a lot of buzz around town. We asked New Milford Mayor Pete Bass about it when he joined the I-95 Morning Show on Wednesday (5/17/23).
My biggest regret from these journeys is that I've not been able to capture these things on video or in photo form. I can never pull out the phone in time to capture these images. Thankfully, we all have access to the data collection of the Google car.
