A little more unsettled today than yesterday but you could almost still call this the calm before the storm, tomorrow will be very windy, this afternoon will be sunshine and showers. The storm tomorrow, storm agnes, is still out at the atlantic. We have a couple of Weather Fronts that have brought pretty heavy rainfall today and rumbles of thunder. It has almost cleared into the north sea but the next rain band is bringing heavy rain to Western Scotland and will continue to rattle north and east through the afternoon, becoming confined to the north of scotland. Elsewhere, sunshine and showers, most towards western areas, better chance of staying dry towards the east and south east where it could be up to 23 degrees. The showers rattle for a time this evening but will fade away, winds will turn lighter, clear skies across the northern half ....
