Union home minister Amit Shah held a massive roadshow with thousands of supporters for the party’s candidate Bijuli Kalita Medhi in Guwahati. Shah was accompanied by chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and party’s state president Bhabesh Kalita. Thousands of party workers and supporters participated in the roadshow, with various cultural shows performed along the stretch to welcome Shah.
The roadshow spanned approximately 2 kilometers, commencing from the Cycle Factory and concluding at the Lal Ganesh area.

This incident took place under the newly built flyover by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) near Basistha Chariali in Guwahati.
The 2.84-kilometer flyover in Guwahati, which will be built at a cost of Rs 376 crore over the course of the next three years, had its foundation laid on Thursday by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
