Ezequiel Tovar hit a three-run double in a five-run sixth inning to rally the Colorado Rockies over the Los Angeles Dodgers, 9-8 on Wednesday night. “Look what he’s done the last month, look what he’s done the last couple of weeks statistically,” Rockies manager Bud Black said. Jake Bird (2-1) pitched an inning and Justin Lawrence got four outs for his fifth save for Colorado on a night when pitchers struggled with control.

Mookie Betts hit a three-run homer, but the Dodgers' late rally fell short in 9-8 loss to the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday in Denver.

Clayton Kershaw pitched six scoreless innings while J.D. Martinez hit career homer 300 as the Dodgers beat the Colorado Rockies 5-0 on Tuesday in Denver.

Clayton Kershaw carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning, J.D. Martinez homered twice to reach 300 for his career, and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Colorado Rockies 5-0 on Tuesday night. Kershaw (10-4) gave up one hit and faced the minimum in six innings, throwing only 79 pitches. “Just didn’t feel great overall,” Kershaw said.

Trailing by two runs in the eighth inning, the Los Angeles Dodgers got help from Houston's relievers and the umpire. James Outman scored the go-ahead run on a balk by Ryan Stanek and the Dodgers rallied to beat the Astros 8-7 on Saturday for their fourth straight victory. Stanek, his long blond hair flying, was incensed after striking out Michael Busch to end the inning.
