A strengthening winter storm system that promises to produce blizzard conditions around Chicago could spawn strong to severe storms over the South on Thursday and Friday. According to the FOX Forecast Center, the first round of storms could impact Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas on Thursday, with an expanded threat zone on Friday.
