The California Department of Parks and Recreation will be conducting prescribed burns in select areas of San Luis Obispo County from Mar. 7 to Mar. 24.
SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif.– A controlled burn is set to ignite nearly 30 brush piles from Jan. 31 through Feb. 10 along the Fleming Loop trail in Morro Bay, according to California State Parks.
California State Parks will be burning approximately 300 brush piles from Tuesday, Jan. 24 through Feb. 2 on the east side of Pecho Valley Road near sandspit access road.
California State Parks will conduct controlled burns in Montaña de Oro Park beginning Tuesday, Dec. 20 through Thursday, Dec. 22 between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to CalFire San Luis Obispo.
