Staff and students at University of Lethbridge will return to classrooms on Wednesday after a collective agreement was ratified by the faculty association.
The reworked academic schedule should allow students to finish their semesters as planned, said student leader Holly Kletke.
On Monday evening, The University of Lethbridge Faculty Association announced its members voted 91 per cent in favour of ratifying a new collective agreement with university administration. Ballots were cast by 92 per cent of its members.
The 10-week program is open to high school graduates with a driver's license.
Ongoing uncertainty, a lack of communication and a loss of academic opportunity are worrying students at the University of Lethbridge while classes remain cancelled.
