Voters in South Lyon will elect a mayor and three city council members in November. If you would like your name to appear on the ballot as a candidate for one of the positions, you must file by 4 p.m., July 20. Deputy Clerk Judy Pieper said only two candidates had filed to run as of June 30. Dan Pelchat is seeking reelection to a 2-year term as mayor and Alex Hansen is vying for one of the 4-year seats on city council.
