(WBNG) -- New York restaurants pushing the state to do more than just extend COVID-era rules which allow them to sell all types of alcohol to-go. They want them to become permanent. Under pre-pandemic rules, only beer was available for to-go and delivery, according to New York Restaurant Association President Melissa Fleischut. Her organization conducted a survey which found 78% of people want to continue to be able to order alcohol to-go. The numbers surprised even her.
