Arncott Tornado plane lane will go to museum instead of being scrapped

A BELOVED plane in a village near Bicester has been saved from an 'ignoble' end thanks to pressure from local councillors, residents and an MP. Arncott's Tornado GR1 Plan, which has sat outside MOD Bicester in the village since 2002, was due to be scrapped by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) in July 2019, but was put on hold after it received opposition to the removal.
