Covid: Firefighters redeployed to drive ambulances amid spike
FIREFIGHTERS across Hampshire have begun driving ambulances as part of a "life-saving initiative". Employees of Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service have volunteered to be redeployed to South Central Ambulance Service to help save lives. They will be redeployed for four weeks initially, to support the efforts of the health service in tackling coronavirus.
