While it wasn't as severe as the previous summer's big dry that hit much of the country, it was a set-back for farmers, who were hoping to rebuild feed reserves and make a full recovery.

ALPENA, Mich. — An exciting and historic day at Alpena’s MidMichigan Medical Center.   The hospital received nearly 3,000 doses of Pfizer COVID–19 vaccine on Wednesday and administered vaccinations to ten of their employees. General Surgeon and VP of Medical Affairs, Dr. Thomas Thornton, played a vital role in the logistics and distribution of the vaccine coming to Alpena. MidMichigan’s Pulmonologist and Chairman of Medicine, Dr. Daniel Maxwell was one of the ten employees to also receive a vaccine.
