ALPENA, Mich. — An exciting and historic day at Alpena’s MidMichigan Medical Center. The hospital received nearly 3,000 doses of Pfizer COVID–19 vaccine on Wednesday and administered vaccinations to ten of their employees. General Surgeon and VP of Medical Affairs, Dr. Thomas Thornton, played a vital role in the logistics and distribution of the vaccine coming to Alpena.
