Two deputies who fired shots in the April incident that killed Brown, came back from leave this week, the Pasquotank County, N.C., sheriff said. A third deputy will leave at the end of June.
A sheriff's deputy who was involved in the fatal shooting of an unarmed Black man in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, is resigning, the Pasquotank County Sheriff's Office said in a statement on Friday.
Daniel Meads, Robert Morgan and Aaron Lewellyn had been on administrative leave from the Pasquotank County Sheriff's Office since Brown's April 21 death.
Each deputy has been on administrative leave until this week, the sheriff's office said.
