Fiction in a Time of Pandemic This week, author Louise Erdrich was named the winner of the Aspen Words Literary Prize for The Night Watchman, a novel based on the life of her grandfather, one of the last remaining first speakers of Ojibwe. Matt Kuhn has been named the city of Aspen’s director of parks and open space. Kuhn has been serving as the interim director since June.
