Just Stop Oil protestors including their alleged ringleader have appeared in court today charged with plotting to cause mayhem on the M25.
Arne Springorum, 58, a Czech Republic-based Just Stop Oil protester who climbed onto a gantry above the M25 has appeared in court and admitted causing a public nuisance.
About 50 Just Stop Oil campaigners were arrested, after blocking Kingsbury Oil Terminal.
Police were pulled away from the Queen’s funeral preparations to help arrest demonstrators, a court heard.
They were part of a 50-strong group of protesters who were arrested after sitting across the entrance of the Kingsbury Oil Terminal in Warwickshire on Wednesday, September 14.
