East Hartford man dies in I-291 crash in South Windsor
SOUTH WINDSOR â An East Hartford teenager was killed and two others were injured Thursday when the car they were in struck several trees located along Interstate 291, state police said. The teen, who was a passenger in the car, was identified as Lucas Barton, 17, of 23 Greenhurst Lane, according to state police from the Troop H barracks in Hartford. Barton was brought to Hartford Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, state police said.
