By Kim Robins on May 12, 2021 Yet another school calendar change was made by the Gloucester School Board during its meeting Tuesday night at the T.C. Walker Education Center. The pandemic has led to several calendar changes but this one came due to a new state holiday. Prior to the change, June 16 was slated to be the last day of in-person learning for the year, while June 17 and 18 were teacher workdays. By Kim Robins on April 28, 2021 The Gloucester School Board adopted it fiscal year 2022 budget with a 5-1 vote last Thursday at Gloucester High School. Board member Darren Post cast the lone nay vote. Board member Brenda Mack was absent from the meeting. The board had requested a $2.2 million increase in local dollars in its operating budget but received only a $1,262,110 boost, a difference of $986,469.
