Students of the Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya (MGAV) here have urged the Centre to enact a Rohith Vemula Act to protect scholars hailing from marginalised communities and prevent campus suicides like the two reported this week at IIT-Bombay and IIT-Madras.
