Date Time Hooning in Darwin City Northern Territory Police have issued one driver a Notice to Appear and seized another driver’s vehicle after a hooning incident in Darwin City over the weekend. At around 10pm on Friday, police were conducting foot patrols on Kitchener Drive, when a Holden Commodore was observed hooning before losing control and crashing into the curb. As police have approached, the driver has attempted to take off before reversing into one of the officers and crashing for a second time. Fortunately, the officer suffered only minor injuries. The 20-year-old male driver was issued a notice to appear for drive in a dangerous manner and hooning, and the vehicle defected. ....
