SEVIERVILLE — A 73-year-old Sevierville man died Friday morning after his truck rolled down an embankment alongside Chapman Highway near Zion Hill Road. Daryl Cornwell was driving north on the highway when his Chevy pickup left the road to the right side and overturned, striking a utility pole. Cornwell was not wearing a seat belt, and was thrown from the vehicle as it rolled down the hill, according to a preliminary report from Tennessee Highway Patrol. He died at the scene.
