July 8, 2021 On July 6, 2021, the Department of Defense (DOD) announced that it was terminating the $10 billion Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (JEDI) cloud project, which would have provided enterprise-wide commercial cloud capabilities for DOD’s classified and unclassified networks.
