Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department director Datuk Azisman Alias said his department had tightened interstate movement following the instruction of the Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani (pix). “Currently, interstate travel is being tightened at toll plazas. Apart from that, interstate travel is still controlled at state border entrances with roadblocks under the administration of the respective state police chiefs,” he told Bernama today. ....

KUALA LUMPUR, April 12 Police have extended to April 15 the 50 per cent discount for traffic summonses paid through the MyBayar Saman because of an overwhelming response to the online payment facility. Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department director Datuk Azisman Alias said 708,030 users had registered with the MyBayar Saman since its launch. “As of yesterday, the 18th day of the introduction of the discount, police have collected more than RM73 million involving 659,998 summonses from the public. ....

Bernama KUALA LUMPUR: Police have collected RM52,715,630 in traffic summonses via MyBayar Saman application, involving 475,261 summonses, as of April 7. Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department director Datuk Azisman Alias said the application received encouraging response from the public to settle their summonses. He said the number of registered users has also increased. “The summons collection exceeded RM50 million on the 14th day since MyBayar Saman was introduced on March 25. The public is advised to grab the 50 percent offer to settle (traffic offences) via the application, which will end on April 11,” he said when contacted by Bernama. ....
