Most Sabahans, especially those below the poverty line, have suffered from pains of inflation for decades, having experienced little income and productivity growth, dwindling job opportunities and minimal downstream industries. WITH Sabah’s economy making a steady economic recovery progress in 2021: [a] positive growth of 3.8pc. [b] RM4.4B investment in the first half of the year. [c] Record highest ever revenue of more than RM5B. [d] Investors have been embracing Hajiji’s investor friendly policies, there is a distinct trickle of economic confidence returning. Hopefully, this trickle, with more such policies, will turn into a gush in 2022 as investment totalling at RM25B is being anticipated
