INEC Returning Officer, Prof. Dauda Aminu, declared the results in Hunkuyi Sunday, saying that Faisal scored 22,993 votes to defeat his closest rival, Nura Abdulkarim of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 22,878 votes.
