North Bergen man sought to have sex with undercover detective who posed as 14-year-old

Beginning in October of 2020, as part of a joint initiative conducted by the FBI and the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Computer Crimes Unit, Dave Adamovic, 48, of North Bergen, began chatting on various application platforms with an undercover detective whom he believed to be 14 years old, Robertson said in a statement.
Adamovic’s chats became sexual in nature and throughout the course of the investigation made arrangements to travel to meet the undercover detective to engage in sexual intercourse. ....
