Pizzaria Davide opens location in Carnegie
They purchased the Carnegie property in June 2019 and had planned to open last June. In the meantime, the spot in Robinson became available and was an easier turnaround, Anoia said. It opened in June instead. The pizza restaurant idea came from the pie served for lunch at DiAnoia’s Eatery, where the plan is to reopen for indoor dining in March. The original pizza is described by Anoia as “an old-world-style” 18-inch pie. The name comes from the Italian spelling of David. The pizza sizes at Pizzeria Davide locations are 12, 16 and 20-inches.
