A man was arrested Saturday for allegedly shooting and killing his wife in Roy, claiming she asked him to do so because she was in extreme pain.
Suspect Dave Meyer said he had watched his wife suffer with nerve damage and back pain for years and she asked him to kill her.
The man said he shot his wife because she had been "asking him to kill her for a while now due to the amount of pain she has been in," officials said.
According to police, a 69-year-old man shot his wife in order to end her back pain that she has had for years since an accident.
A 69-year-old man was arrested on Saturday and is accused of killing his wife. He told police his wife has been asking him to kill her for years because of back pain and nerve damage from a car accident 11 years ago, according to the booking affidavit.
