Bonner County Prosecutor Louis Marshall filed an amended criminal complaint charging James David Russell, 39, of cannibalism in relation to the Sept. 10 murder.
James David Russell, 39, is accused of killing and eating the body parts of David Flaget, 70, back on September 10 after police found microwaved body parts, which he said 'cured his brain.'
"It's a walk down the dark path that we don't see very often," Bonner County Detective Phillip Stella said.
