Brock Lucas scored the opening basket off a pretty assist from Caleb Oligschaelger in the opening minute. The St. Elizabeth Hornets were off and running. The Hornets scored the first nine points in Tuesday night’s Class 1 sectional on their way to a 59-41 win against the Wheatland Mules at Camdenton High School.
For the first time since 2010, the St. Elizabeth boys and girls basketball teams will both be playing in the Class 1 state sectional round. The Lady Hornets tip off tonight’s doubleheader at Camdenton High School against Walnut Grove at 6 p.m. The Hornets’ game against Wheatland will follow at 7:45 p.m.
