Dunnellon mayor, council members take oaths of office
DUNNELLON – Last month, then former councilman Bill White won the election and became city of Dunnellon mayor. In the middle of Monday night's meeting, White, who beat incumbent Mayor Dale Burns, took over the gavel. Two others, Louise Kenny and Jan Cubbage, won their bids for a City Council seat. Kenny defeated former councilman and Mayor Larry Winkler. Councilman Jay Duggan lost to Cubbage. Joining White at the podium was Kenny and Cubbage, and all three took their oaths.
