RAMONA A fire early Tuesday caused extensive damage to a Ramona home, destroyed a trio of vehicles and displaced three adults and a child, a fire official said. The blaze, which caused about $500,000 worth of damage, was reported shortly after 12:30 a.m. at the home on Abalar Way near Daza Drive in the San Diego Country Estates area, Cal Fire Capt. Thomas Shoots said. When firefighters arrived they found heavy smoke and fire showing at the home. Shoots said the flames tore through about 75 percent of the structure, which he described as having “pretty major” damage, including in the kitchen, garage and attic. ....
