Article content With the COVID-19 pandemic forcing Katrinette and her bandmates from the well-loved, all-female garage rock trio The Ape-ettes to go on hiatus, she took the opportunity to begin work on a solo release, using material she had written over a 13-year period. The resulting record, produced by Jonathan Danyliw and featuring a group of talented guest musicians, was released on vinyl and digital platforms on July 1, to warm reception from fans and fellow musicians both in and elsewhere.
