A Black student who spent more than a month on in-school suspension over his dreadlocks has been told he will be removed from his Texas high school and sent to a disciplinary alternative education program on Thursday

Darryl has been in In-school suspension since Aug. 31 due to his hairstyle. Darryl has dreadlocks that he and his family said are normally put up in a neat fashion, as pictured below.
Legal action as entered the conversation on the widely disputed suspension of a Black student who was told his dreadlocks were out of school dress code. However, the defendants in this case is the governor of Texas and the state attorney general.
The Black student who was suspended twice for wearing his dreads to school is suing Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.
