In a tragic incident that occurred in Nashik, Maharashtra today, 22 patients lost their lives. These patients were put on a ventilator and needed oxygen supply but after the tank leaked outside the hospital, the supply to these patients was interrupted. Speaking on the matter, the district collector Suraj Mandhare confirmed the death of 22 patients and said that it was a result of an oxygen tank leak at the Zakir Hussain municipal hospital. This hospital is completely dedicated to treating Covid patients. Out of all the patients admitted here, at least 150 of them were on ventilators or constant oxygen supply.
