Mrs. Eva Lawer, on the eve of 95 years, passed away peacefully at Pioneer Ridge Home for the Aged on Sunday, March 14, 2021. A resident of Thunder Bay for 71 years, Eva was born in Ukraine on May 12, 1926. She immigrated to Canada with her husband George (Jourko) and their daughter Kim in 1950 and began their life together as young entrepreneurs owning and operating residential real estate while continuing to grow their beautiful family.
