Nearly a dozen parents spoke during the public comment of the Monday meeting of the Fremont Public Schools Board of Education, expressing their frustration and anger with the recent safety and security issues at Fremont Middle School. About three dozen parents in total were in attendance at the Feb. 12 meeting, however not all spoke to the board during the beginning of the meeting public comment session.
