Over the next decade they may reach further west still, to Balladonia
Known for being extremely funny and tough as nails in equal measure, the once struggling species is now thriving in the vast, arid landscape.
Michael Swinbourne, a wombat expert from the University of Adelaide, hoped the next decade would see it continue a westward march into territory lost decades ago.
