Hyzon to Go Public Through SPAC Merger With Decarbonization Plus
Feb 9, 2021 9:01 AM EST Hyzon agreed to go public by merging with blank-check company Decarbonization Plus, a deal that values the fuel-cell startup at about $2 billion. The Rochester, N.Y., company will receive as much as $626 million of proceeds from the transaction, including $400 million from a private investment in public equity, or PIPE, at $10 a share, the companies said in a statement.
