In 2018, Habitat launched “Global Impact 2025” (GI25). The initiative seeks to transform Habitat’s global operations to align with the ambition of its strategic plan, “to materially reduce the housing deficit.” The past three years have established a foundation for that growth: introducing the ministry’s first international theory of change; building the capacity for new revenue streams; and co-creating new models for more integrated operations across the Habitat network. As we move into the next phase for GI25, we are accelerating the transformation of our supporting teams.

People living at home and who receive home-care support can receive COVID-19 vaccinations in B.C.

Many people may be under the impression that the B.C. government is only offering the COVID-19 vaccine based on a person s age and Indigenous status.
But people who live at home and are receiving home-care support can also be vaccinated, even if they re under the age of 65, in Phase 2, which began this month.
They re being vaccinated ahead of organ transplant recipients, people with various cancers, and those with severe respiratory issues who aren t receiving home support. People with those conditions will have to wait until Phase 3, starting next month. ....

Kansas’ Office of the Attorney General said Friday that the University of Kansas was not breaking state law by keeping the meetings of its pandemic advisory team private.
The nine-member team of medical professionals and KU leaders, known as PMAT, was established in June to help inform the university’s decisions related to the COVID-19 pandemic. In early September, the Journal-World reported that KU declined to answer whether the group’s weekly meetings were open to the public and that the university had not kept any minutes of the past meetings. ....
