Right. you didn't see the housing crisis, you didn't see the global financial crisis. you were at citigroup then. what lesson did you learn from that? when you look back on that, what do you think you got wrong and how do you apply the lessons going forward? >> i certainly did not see that as a crisis. i was thinking about a lot of different things and i think there were a lot of excesses and i used to give speeches about it, actually and obviously, i should have. i don't think it would have made a difference in the city, particularly because i was a senior counselor and not in a decision maki...
