Reports, there was a noise and smoke came from the vel rater -- from the elevator, then witnesses said they saw a ladder reach down to the elevator car, which apparently didn't make the observation deck, and bring people up to the observation deck. also, people were stranded on the deck itself, and they had to wait there for a couple of hours before they were brought down via a service elevator. there's another report, martha, that people were on the elevator and it actually started going down, started tumbling down. we don't have any confirmation of that but we don't have confirmation of too ...
