GEORGE TOWN: Two popular malls in Penang will shut their doors for three days to comply with the new Hotspot Identification for Dynamic Engagement (HIDE) system.
Both malls issued statements saying they would be shut in compliance with the authorities announcement where premises listed under HIDE are required to close for three days.
Gurney Paragon and Queensbay Mall both released statements saying that during the closure they will be carrying out deep cleaning and sanitisation within the malls.
In a statement issued on its Facebook page on Sunday (May 9), Queensbay Mall said that it will be closed until Tuesday (May 11) to comply with HIDE requirements. ....
