Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced a ban on import of live birds in the national capital and closure of Ghazipur poultry market, the biggest in the city, for the next 10 days in view of bird flu scare.

poultry farm in
Parbhani district of the state.
However, the exact cause behind the death of hens is not yet known. The poultry farm is run by a Self Help Group (SHG).
Parbhani district collector Deepak Mulgikar said that their samples have been sent for investigation to identify the exact cause of the death.
The incident took place at around 2 am on Saturday at the neonatal care unit of a district government hospital.
