HUNDREDS of hours have been given by dozens of selfless volunteers who wanted to spread some festive joy this Christmas. A COMMUNITY has come together to keep the Christmas spirit going in these uncertain times. As coronavirus continues to spread through the country and there are tighter restrictions ahead, one group is doing all it can to spread some joy. Deeside Round Table has brought Santa into the community, but with a difference. However, they have teamed up with pupils at St Ethelwolds school and local businesses to deliver special hampers for elderly and vulnerable residents. A YOUNG Flintshire child who's successfully battled a rare form of brain cancer received a special visit. Four-year-old Aaron Wharton, from Buckley, has been described as a "warrior" after undergoing brain surgery, radiotherapy and having a gastronomy feeding tube fitted.
