Was because people left the labor force. it seems to be primarily teens and young people which is sending a horrible message for their job prospects for the summer. and with extensions and the congress and the administration needs to be much more aggressive but there is this whole debate about whether the issue now is stim uls or dulus or def reduction. they need to do it more now. here is my question about where we are. if the economy started to recover last summer or fall, shouldn t we be doing better? compared to the last two recoveries, it took 15 months after the 1991 recovery began before the rate started to go bad. it took 19 months. it was lower. the drop was less, steep. ....
