The judge is very concerned about the covid surge in new york city and she is concerned about the possibility of a mistrial in one of the jurors becomes affected by that. they're not sequestered, so they leave here every day and they go home and they come back. remember, there was a four-day interruption in the deliberation process when, again, the jurors could have become exposed to covid. that's the judge's main concern. she wants the trial to happen, she wants the deliberations to happen, and she doesn't want there to be a mistrial because of this. so she's trying to keep the process moving...
